I am SO excited to be Mrs. James Winterton on September 17, 2011!
Help Me Get Hitched
Let wedding season begin! I started working with Help Me Get Hitched, a wedding coordinating company, a few months ago. Casey and Courtney (the two sisters in the middle) started this company in October of 2010. It took off quickly so they brought on some extra help, Anna (on the left) and me. HMGH is a wedding coordinating company that does everything from shower planning to day of planning to full wedding planning. I have really enjoyed working with them so far and am looking forward to all the weddings coming up this summer and fall!

Memorial Day!
While sitting at work on Friday, I decided to go south and recruited Jimmy to join me. We packed up and head out in the afternoon. After about 8 hours of singing Queen and Miley Cyrus, we arrived in San Diego where we joined the Wagners and my parents at the La Costa Resort.
After enjoying the waterslides and playing pool games, Boden and explored in the bushes...

We ate at L'Auberge restaurant in Del Mar...
We enjoyed playing croquette and listening to our new friend play the guitar...

We enjoyed Crystal Cove Beach where we played smashball and bocci ball....

Our perfect weekend had to come to an end but we stayed until the last possible minute and arrived back in rainy San Francisco by midnight.

I ate...
Last night, Jimmy and I went on a date to Foreign Cinema. It is a beautiful restaurant and when it gets dark they show an old film projected onto one of the walls. Jim and I are early bird eaters (thanks to my early work schedule) so we didn't stick around for the film. We did however eat the most amazing baby artichokes, mahi mahi, and roasted chicken. Everything was perfectly prepared. I want to go back for the brunch! We went home to a homemade blackberry crumble that was so delicious we ate the whole thing and have no pictures to prove it.
I enjoy...
This man.
Let's try this again.

On June 2, I will have lived in San Francisco for 5 months exactly. Time has flown by. I really have loved every minute of living here (except the minute I realized my car had been towed and the minute I realized summer won't hit until September) but everything else has been a real dream. There are so many things I love about life here in Northern California and I want to share some of the places I explore, the foods that I eat, and the things I enjoy.
So far, these are a few of the places I've explored...

Hot chocolate from the Ghiradelli backpack (notice the holster for whipped cream). I also, didn't get any because it was an outrageous $5.50 but what a great idea.
While exploring Oakland, I smelled waffle cones- Jimmy saw a sign on a dingy little building with no windows that read, "Fortune Cookie Factory". Saturday night at 7:30pm, you wouldn't think the place would be open but I poked my head in the door and saw 15 little people working on huge machinery cranking out fresh fortune cookies. I asked if I could buy some and the nice man said, "$2.50 for a pound". I said, "No problem", and he grabbed me a fresh bag and I gave him exact change. It was the perfect treat. Turns out I look like a little Buddah. (Thanks Cami).
