Let's try this again.

On June 2, I will have lived in San Francisco for 5 months exactly. Time has flown by. I really have loved every minute of living here (except the minute I realized my car had been towed and the minute I realized summer won't hit until September) but everything else has been a real dream. There are so many things I love about life here in Northern California and I want to share some of the places I explore, the foods that I eat, and the things I enjoy.

So far, these are a few of the places I've explored...

Hwy 1...

Strawberry Farms on the side of the road...

Santa Cruz...

Carmel...

(I know that this picture could be taken at any beach, but I promise, it was Carmel and it was beautiful.)

Sausalito...

The Redwoods...

Big Sur...

These are a few of the things I've eaten...

Hot chocolate from the Ghiradelli backpack (notice the holster for whipped cream). I also, didn't get any because it was an outrageous $5.50 but what a great idea.
Marianne's Ice Cream in Santa Cruz...

While exploring Oakland, I smelled waffle cones- Jimmy saw a sign on a dingy little building with no windows that read, "Fortune Cookie Factory". Saturday night at 7:30pm, you wouldn't think the place would be open but I poked my head in the door and saw 15 little people working on huge machinery cranking out fresh fortune cookies. I asked if I could buy some and the nice man said, "$2.50 for a pound". I said, "No problem", and he grabbed me a fresh bag and I gave him exact change. It was the perfect treat. Turns out I look like a little Buddah. (Thanks Cami).

Things I've enjoyed...

The 2 months that I lived in the Lower Haight...

Visitors...

Cami came to town in January.

My parents came to visit in February...

The Wagners came to town in Febuary...

Landon came to visit in March...

GIANTS games!!!

Merry-go-rounds in Santa Cruz (where you have to grab a ring from this long arm and try and throw it in the clown's mouth and, I'll have you know, both Jimmy and I were successful)...
